Wine and Ciddaro
From Vineyard to Cellar
In autumn the countryside around Matera smells of must: we tell the story of the grape harvest and winemaking handed down from generation to generation, down to the cellars carved into the tufa rock where wine still rests today.
A moment of celebration and conviviality, with a tasting of wines and local products, often accompanied by folk music and traditional rural dancing.
