Tarantina

Tarantina is the most productive variety in the Matera olive groves, with clear Salento origins. Medium-sized fruit, harvested from mid-November.

The oil is fragrant, pleasantly bitter and peppery, rich in polyphenols. In 2026, its varietal characterisation was completed for the first time: this is Matera's first single-variety oil.
